Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Landlord/Tenant CHA utilizes legal counsel to bring contested eviction actions and to otherwise represent CHA’s interest in nonpayment of rent cases and lease terminations for cause. 2. Labor/Personnel Responding firms must have experience defending/representing public entities in this area of law and work and may include arbitration, contract interpretation, hearings before administrative bodies, mediation, and general advice. Litigation experience in the areas of discrimination, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, worker’s compensation, and related areas of Labor Law are required.. 3. Construction/Real Estate les that any other consultants may play and the methods of CHA is seeking counsel who is familiar with residential, and commercial leases, licenses, titles, easement, local and state codes. Also, to represent CHA as an owner of rehabilitating developments and construction of new projects financed with Federal funds. This area requires knowledge of Federal and South Carolina contract law, advice and representation, in the various phases of design and construction, project administration and trial experience. 4. Civil Rights/Constitutional Law Responding firms must demonstrate experience and capacity in litigating and advising public entities in his area of the law. 5. Administrative Law Cost Proposal for this Project CHA needs qualified attorneys in the administrative field. A respondent’s expertise must include enforcement powers of agencies, ethics, Public Records Act, administrative rules and the scope of agency powers.
