Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Contractor shall provide cleaning of the kitchen exhaust hoods at twenty-two District locations in accordance NFPA 96 and any and all local, state, and federal codes. The cleaning services must include: a. Removing and cleaning both sides of exhaust fans. b. Scraping and cleaning ductwork. c. Cleaning underneath stainless steel hood. d. Treating and cleaning hood filters and returning clean filters to the hood. e. Removing all cooking equipment on casters and covering all other equipment with 4 mil plastic during cleaning. f. Leaving the kitchen clean and moving all equipment back to their original location. 2. A sticker with the company name and cleaning date must be attached to each hood cleaned. 3. A report detailing any deficiencies, recommendations, or repairs will be sent to the Office of Student Nutrition within fifteen days of completion of the cleaning.
