The Town of Lyman, South Carolina is seeking proposals from qualified HVAC contractors for the removal of three (3) existing mini-split HVAC units currently serving the upstairs Police Department offices located within the Town Hall building at 81 Groce Road, Lyman, SC 29365 and replacement with an alternate system NOT using mini splits to service the Police Department at Town Hall. All bids should include a specific plan for replacement of the system, what type of units and how many to be installed along with specifics of all other equipment and costs. The selected contractor will be responsible for: • Removal and proper disposal of the three existing mini-split HVAC systems. • Design and installation of new HVAC systems (not mini-split systems), including all associated ductwork and zoning, to ensure upstairs police department is cooled and heated. • Equipment must specified • Installation must include: - New central HVAC systems (specify make and model in proposal). - All new systems must be covered by a parts and labor warranty. • Include pricing for a comprehensive service agreement covering routine maintenance and response time for repair requests. • All parts, labor, and installation must be included in a lump sum “out-the-door” price. • Clearly define the timeline for project completion, including expected start and finish dates upon award of contract.
