Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this solicitation is to acquire Security Guard Services for the South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department (Department) located at 1410 Boston Avenue, Columbia, SC. The Contractor will provide security services for the prevention of loss of property and harm to students and others, by monitoring for fire, theft, vandalism and unauthorized, unsafe or unruly conduct. The Contractor shall be a business licensed and registered in accordance with SC Code of Laws 1976 Title 40, Private Detective and Private Security Agencies Act to provide security services. The Contractor will provide all labor, material, equipment, supplies and transportation for the provision of these services. The initial term of the contract will be for one year with four one (1) year optional renewal terms.
