Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Office of State Procurement, on behalf of the SC Department of Parks, Recreation, & Tourism, is seeking proposals for the design and installation of exhibits at the park visitor center at Musgrove Mill State Historic Site. The Contractor will provide “turn-key” services to plan, design, produce, and install exhibits that immerse the visitor in state park historic experiences with a focus on the American Revolutionary War. The exhibits should be interactive, immersive, experience driven and engage all senses to give the visitor an understanding the state park’s cultural and historic relevance. The Revolutionary War historic sites at Musgrove Mill interpret and protect the location of the Battle of Musgrove Mill. The battle, in which the vastly outnumbered Patriot militia outlasted the Loyalists in a surprising victory, is detailed through interpretive signage in the visitor center and along two and a half miles of nature trails. This historic site is 397 acres. The mission of Musgrove Mill State Historic Site is to protect, preserve, and interpret the cultural resources of the site for the education, enjoyment, and inspiration of the park visitor; primarily focusing on those historic resources associated with the American Revolutionary War
