Specifications include, but are not limited to: Lexington County School District One , hereafter referred to as the “District” or “LCSD1”, is accepting sealed proposals from vendors to provide Electronic Benefits Enrollment, Communication Services, optional Supplemental Insurance Products and optional TeleHealth Services in accordance with the requirements of this solicitation. These specifications cover professional services to furnish all supervision, labor, materials, training, technical support, supplies, and equipment necessary to provide the services requested. The specifications included herein are to be considered as providing minimum desirable features. Any limitations, deviations, or broader features quoted should be designated in your proposal. Otherwise, companies and agents submitting proposals will be held to the specifications. The District desires a vendor that shall establish a partnership with the District in offering all of the proposed services and serve in an advisory capacity to the District throughout the term of the contract. 1. Assist in coordinating the development, promotion and administration of the Benefits and Retirement programs for LCSD1, including providing requested printed and electronic promotional materials. 2. Assist with, or provide, new hire orientation, if requested by the District. New Employee Orientation occurs every week on a day specified by the District, throughout the year. Must be available to add additional hours/days based on the number of new hires during summer months. 3. Conduct meetings with new hires and current staff at various District locations to facilitate enrollment and explain options under the Benefits Program and follow-up with those employees unable to attend. Provide, at a minimum, thirty (30) minute sessions to explain all benefits offered. 4. Provide professional counselors who are trained and experienced in completing State paperwork to enroll all employees electing to participate in the Benefits Program to include but not be limited to the Public Employee Benefit Authority (PEBA) insurance and retirement programs. All meetings and counseling appointments should provide a bilingual option to employees. 5. Conduct annual visits to assist employees in annual and open enrollments with in-person and virtual options; coordinate with locations and announce schedules.
