Specifications include, but are not limited to: approximately 66,000 SF of new facilities. It will house 134 inmates with a core designedfor 200. The new sheriff’s office (administrative offices, 911, and support areas) and magistrates courtwill also be within the building. There are two pre-engineered metal buildings on the site in addition tothe main building. The main building construction includes concrete and brick veneer masonryconstruction with steel framing, interior CMU partitions, PVC roofing, architectural casework, foodservice equipment, detention equipment, security electronics, and finishes typically associated with a newdetention center. The project includes a kitchen, laundry, vehicle sally port, intake/booking and steelcells. Sitework includes stormwater management, sidewalks, parking lots, grading, and fencing/gates.Mechanical work includes ductwork, plumbing, sprinkler system, smoke control system, controls, androof top units. Electrical work includes panelboards, lighting fixtures, fire alarm, emergency generator,power, technology wiring and infrastructure; and security systems (cameras, intercoms, duress, doorcontrols, and touchscreens).
