The purpose of this Contract is to acquire operation, preventive maintenance, testing, inspection, and repair service for elevators and related equipment. This specification covers services for furnishing all supplies, materials, maintenance service vehicles, communication needs, labor, labor supervision, tools, test equipment, special equipment, and lubricants necessary to provide full preventive maintenance, adjustments, repairs, and replacements for the complete vertical transportation system described herein. The service required will be characterized by reliable operation; equipment and systems which are kept in optimal condition by appropriate repairs, maintenance, calibration, and adjustments for peak effectiveness; and responsiveness on the part of the Contractor when any repair or adjustment is needed.
