The successful bidder will manage and coordinate Economic Development activities for Charles County Government, and will essentially assume the functions previously conducted by the Charles County Department of Economic Development. The firm selected will work in close coordination with the Economic Development Advisory Council to promote economic development in Charles County through innovative business retention, expansion and location policies; promoting a favorable regulatory climate for business; and maintaining a thriving business climate and high quality of life where citizens can live, work, and prosper
