Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Rock Hill, South Carolina is seeking competitive proposals from qualified companies to provide the City with the installation, removal, and storage of Christmas decorations. A. All decorations should be removed by January 15 of each year. B. All decorations should be installed by the weekend prior to Thanksgiving of each year. Installation should begin by October 15 of each year. 1. Tree lights and building lights may be installed beginning on October 15. 2. Lights over the ice-skating rink should be installed by November 10. 3. City Hall and Lamp Pole decorations can be installed beginning on November 15. 4. Fountain Park decorations can be installed the week prior to Thanksgiving with everything completed by the week of Thanksgiving. C. All calls should be responded to within 1 hour. If on site remedies are necessary, the contractor should be working to correct the issue within 2 hours of the initial call. Annual Temporary Decorations A. Install, remove, and store fourteen 6’ commercial grade, lighted wreaths with lights at City Hall. B. Install, remove, and store one commercial grade 20’ Sequoia Tree, ornaments, and tree topper at City Hall. C. Install, remove, and store one commercial grade 20’ Sequoia Tree, 4' base, ornaments, and tree topper at Fountain Park. 1. The base is made of ¼” Sintra board. There are 8 panels that measure 45.75” x 31.25”, a minimum of 4 panels are replaced each year. The design is printed directly onto the Sintra board. The vendors should provide design choices from which the City will choose each year. The City will also provide text for printing on the panels.
