The dining services program at USC Upstate encompasses residential dining, retail dining and sales, and catering with exceptions as noted in the RFP. Operations are currently provided in one (1) main dining location, with five (5) other dining locations throughout campus. A campus map indicating the location of each can be found at Campus Maps - USC Upstate | University of South Carolina Upstate. USC Upstate Dining Services are currently contracted to Sodexo USA, Inc. Drink and Snack vending services are not a part of this RFP. The current University Preferred Beverage provider in its dining program is Pepsi Beverage Company with a contract that expires on February 24, 2027. The current University Preferred Snack provider in its dining program is Gilly Vending Inc. with a contract that expires on September 30, 2027. Revenues under the Preferred Beverage Partner contract and Preferred Snack Provider contract are paid directly to the University. The University Dining Provider (Dining Provider or Contractor) will be required to comply with the provisions of both contracts, copies of which are available upon request. Similar contracts will be solicited and awarded upon the expiration of the current contracts, and the selected Dining Provider will be required to comply with the requirements of the new contracts when established.
