Specifications include, but are not limited to: APPROACH 1. Offeror shall assist with development of the protocol and standards for certification of climate-smart forest products for participating landowners in the Climate-Smart Grown in SC project and other interested forest landowners in South Carolina. 2. Additionally, the offeror shall connect with local and regional specialty wood product sellers to investigate if the new certification will create a premium price for the Climate Smart participants. Also, Clemson personnel and project partners will collaborate with the Offeror to study the methods to incorporate the blockchain tracking system into the certification process. 3. Offeror will assist with the development of educational and outreach materials about certification for landowners and potential buyers. 4. Offeror will meet regularly with the Climate-Smart Forestry Market Development team to review progress. 5. At the conclusion, Offeror will provide a verbal presentation to Clemson University if requested. 6. DATA SOURCES 7. Offeror will review any data provided by Clemson University for background on the project and goals. Offeror will then supplement the information with additional data gathered from a variety of sources, both internally and externally (Secondary Research). 8. Offeror will provide to Clemson University all the new information during the project that is not subject to confidentiality agreements. 9. REPORTS 10. Offeror shall provide Clemson University with presentations as mutually agreed upon by Clemson University and Offeror. 11. Offeror will provide Clemson University with written documentation of the proposed certification protocol and standards 12. Verbal discussions will be provided on an as needed basis as requested by Clemson University.
