Analyze and coordinate the logistical functions of a firm or organization. Responsible for the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources. The job duties comprise the following: 1 Develop and implement technical project management tools such as plans, schedules, and task responsibility using Microsoft project 2007 software. 2 Assist in developing proposals that include documentation for estimates. 3 Direct and support the compilation and analysis of technical source data necessary for web based software product development. 4 Assist Team activities, establishing task priorities, scheduling and tracking work assignments, providing guidance, and ensuring the availability of resources. 5 Manage the logistical aspects of software product life cycles, including coordination or testing sample software. 6 Participate in the assessment and testing of design alternatives and design change proposal impacts. 7 Perform systems life cycle cost analysis, and develop studies. Plan, organize, and execute logistic support activities such as maintenance planning, software help-desk analysis, and test equipment recommendation. 8 Provide project management services, including the provision and analysis of technical data. 9 Assist in preparing report of project plans, progress and results. 10 Remain informed of logistics technology advances, and apply appropriate technology in order to improve logistics processes. 11 Collaborate with other departments as necessary to meet customer requirements to take advantage of sales opportunities or in the case of shortages, to minimize negative impacts on the business. 12 Develop an understanding of customer's needs, and take actions to ensure that such needs are met. 13 Explain proposed solutions to customers, management, or other interested parties through written proposals and oral presentations. 14 Maintain and develop positive business relationships with a customer's key personnel involved in or directly relevant to a logistics activity. 15 Assist in managing outsourced of contracted activities, reviewing requests for bids, developing performance specifications, and serving as liaisons between subcontractors and organizations. 16 Review logistics performance with customers against targets, benchmarks and service agreements. 17 Support the development of training materials and technical manuals. 18 The five foreign languages will be: French, Italian, Polish, and Spanish No additional specifications were given.
