Georgetown County, SC, is soliciting qualifications statements for a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for pre-construction, construction, and project closeout/warranty of a new Emergency Services Building, including the Emergency Operations Center and 911 Communications Center for Georgetown County. Currently, Georgetown County’s current Emergency Services Building lacks proper operational space necessary to meet the needs of our growing community for the Emergency Services Department, Emergency Operations Center, and 911 Communications Center The new emergency services building shall include but not be limited to the following: adequate office space for current and future needs, an emergency operations center with applicable breakout rooms and technology capabilities, a 911 dispatch center, restrooms including shower capabilities, a kitchen area, a dining area, and multiple conference/multipurpose rooms. The new emergency services building will be built on the existing campus where the new Georgetown County Detention Center is being constructed.
