Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall provide the University community with a full range of services reasonably expected from a quality academic bookstore. The Contractor shall operate the University bookstore, known as The Chanticleer Store, at a minimum, from 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and provide weekend hours, except for University recognized holidays and closings. The bookstore also will be required to open for extended hours on weekends during home athletic events, residence hall move-in days, and for Parents' Weekend, as well as other weekend times as necessary for University operations. It will be the determination of the University if longer or modified store hours than these listed are necessary and any changes will be agreed upon by both parties. For inventory purposes, the bookstore may close for a minimal amount of time, as agreed upon with the University. The Contractor shall provide for and implement programs designed to provide significant cost savings to students in regards to course material purchases.
