Midlands Technical College (MTC) seeks a vending services partner to provide reliable, high-quality, and innovative beverage programs across all campus locations. MTC values a comprehensive selection of products, professional service, and collaborative marketing efforts to enrich the campus experience. The College desires that the Contractor: Promote its product line through signage, tastings, and other approved marketing activities (with prior approval from Auxiliary Services). Offer a wide selection of nationally recognized, popular products (examples: Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Canada Dry) along with healthy, low-fat, and nutritious options. Provide both vended and non-vended carbonated and non-carbonated beverages. Adapt offerings to meet customer preferences and changing demands. Support sustainability and recycling initiatives on campus. Deliver courteous, professional, and efficient service. Work in full partnership with Auxiliary Services and the MTC Cafés. Auxiliary Services would like to walk through each campus/ building with the beverage vendor to determine what size and placement of machines that should be in each building. For example, Morris Hall, and Batesburg/Leesville do not need the large size machines. Those small machines or refrigerator type machines will work best in those buildings. Auxiliary Services must be notified prior to taking out or replacing any machines. Beverages that are not producing adequate sales should be replaced with beverages that are producing adequate sales. Auxiliary Services would like to have a quarterly meeting with the beverage vendor by Microsoft Teams, Zoom or in person to review sales and discuss improvements that will benefit both the beverage vendor and MTC. The Contractor must be willing to donate beverage items to the college for major events, such as the Employee Appreciation Day, MTC Graduations, and the MTC Golf Tournament. Contractors are expected to provide creative merchandising, proactive marketing, and special promotional programs to increase student and staff engagement with vending and retail offerings.
