Specifications include, but are not limited to: A licensed qualified firm to design, build, and operate the aerial adventure course and climbing wall at Ashley River Park. DCPRD seeks proposals for P3 arrangement for an aerial adventure course and climbing wall at Ashley River Park from qualified vendors who will provide all aspects for planning, designing, building, advertising, scheduling, implementing, and operation of the program on a year-round basis. The selected Vendor shall build and operate a climbing wall and high ropes adventure course with little environmental impact to the selected area located within Ashley River Park. The agreed course shall be removable at the end of the contracted period and create negligible environmental or aesthetic impact on the park. This service will need to operate within the Department’s mission, daily operations plans, other programs events, and rentals. Ashley River Park’s anticipated operations currently includes day use parking areas, pavilions and shelters, restrooms, education programming, trails, boardwalks, special events and festivals, boat rentals and instruction, pond fishing, playground, dog park and other facilities and programming.
