Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Clemson University South Carolina 4-H Pinckney Leadership Program seeks to collaborate with a designer to create a leadership curriculum for high school students in the State of South Carolina. The key intentions of the program are to prepare students for workforce with personal excellence and leadership fundamentals, support and accelerate their on-boarding experience to make a positive impact quickly in their new job, and to lay the foundation for applying emotional intelligence post high school graduation. Curriculum logistics: • Outlines a basic framework for what to do, how to do it, when to do it, and how to know if has been achieved • Allows for flexibility and encourages experimentation and innovation within an overall structure • Includes instructional end goals that align with content • Must be compatible with South Carolina state high school standards • Includes engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer of learning • Must be piloted in at least 5 South Carolina High Schools • Pilot of curriculum must support up to 60 Students (Freshmen to Seniors) • Length of Leadership lessons are from 45 to 90 minutes • Curriculum must support block and non-block school schedules • Current estimated schedule project launch is mid-October 2019 Curriculum shall include: • Pre program consultation with all schools, students, principles and counselors • Gather feedback from all groups • Training program after pilot of curriculum to allow school leaders to deliver and train others • Contractor must vet all facilitators and maintain quality control over the program • All offers must list materials and/or books required.
