Greenville County is soliciting sealed competitive bids from qualified contractors for its 2026 Pavement Preservation Project in order to extend the life of selected pavements. The project consists of the application of 152,053 square yards of asphalt rejuvenating agent as detailed in the special provisions. The work includes two separate bid items: 149,911 SY for roadways and 2,142 SY for a recreational trail. The project will treat primarily two-lane residential roads. A road list is provided in the special provisions. Bidders must provide separate unit prices for each item. The winning contractor shall provide all materials and labor, including rock dust application and removal, needed to complete the project as specified. This work shall consist of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment necessary to perform all operations for the application of an asphalt rejuvenating agent to asphaltic concrete surface courses. The rejuvenation of surface courses shall be by spray application of a maltene based cationic rejuvenating agent composed of petroleum oils and resins emulsified with water. All work shall be in accordance with the specifications, the applicable drawings, and subject to the terms and conditions of this contract.
