This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. 6913G625Q300049 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation document and Incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-05, effective 8/7/2025. The NAICS Code is 813920; the Small Business size standard is $23.5M.
The U.S. Department of Transportation, John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center), intends to solicit and award a purchase order to Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA), Alexandria, VA, in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b), for conference space at the 2026 Annual ATCA Conference and Exhibition in Washington, DC, in accordance with the attached specification sheet.
BACKGROUND
Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center) staff will participate in the 2026 Annual Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA) Conference and Exhibition. The booth must be reserved and the space confirmed prior to August 31, 2025, per Volpe conference planning requirements.
ATCA will finalize details of their floor plan and anticipate making changes to the current layout. For documentational purposes, ATCA has allocated booth spaces 36, 36a, 36b, 37, 37a, and 37b. However, as ATCA finalizes the floor plan, Volpe’s specific location may change due to ideal placement and visibility.
The booth space must be reserved and confirmed by ATCA. The booth space is in the exhibition hall at the Charleston Convention Center in Charleston, SC.
The Volpe Center POC who will accept the booth space reservation and confirmation is Chiemi Wehrung and will be be acknowledged via email.
REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS
The Government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order as a result of this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation. This notice is expected to result in a single award, subject to receipt of an acceptable quote. Please provide a firm fixed price quote in accordance with the items listed below:
