Specifications include, but are not limited to: Cab & Chassis: Engine & Equipment: A minimum of a 450hp diesel engine is required. Transmission & Air Equipment: A minimum of an Allison IV3000 transmission is required. Tires & Wheels: All tires must exceed current DOT regulations for tread depth. Fuel Tank: Capacity of holding 50 gallons of diesel fuel. Emergency Lights & Siren: A minimum of a Federal Q siren along with meeting or exceeding all NFPA lighting and warning device regulations at the time of manufacturer. Other: Must include an on-board charging system, SCBA compartments over the wheel wells a Deck Gun on the top of the truck and rear backup camera. Body: Tank: A minimum of a poly 1000-gallon water tank. Proof of NFPA gallon age certification must be provided. Components and construction must meet the minimum acceptance of tanks as adopted by NFPA for the construction of water tanks for Fire Apparatus at the time of construction. Pump: A minimum of a 1500gpm single stage pump with a minimum of a 20-gallon Class A foam tank and a Compressed Air Foam System. Discharges: A minimum of a four (4) pre-connected hose line discharges, specifically one in the front bumper area, two cross-lays and one in the rear. Compartments: Compartments have been properly constructed and meet all NFPA requirements. Lettering: Lettering will be handled by the Jamestown Fire Department.
