Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Bridge Group 04 RI-95/Rt 10 Corridor Project (the “Project”) includes but is not limited to work on sixteen (16) bridges of which ten (10) are to be fully replaced, three (3) are to be fully removed, one (1) to be partially removed, and two (2) that are partially completed and shall be completed as part of this contract. It also encompasses roadway modifications on approximately 7.4 miles of roadway within the I-95/Rt 10 corridor. The Project encompasses the following enhancements: Resurfacing I-95 from I-195/I-95 interchange at Blackstone Street to the Service Avenue overpass and replacing median barrier and roadside barrier/guardrail with MASH compliant hardware. Resurfacing Rt 10 from the Frankfort Avenue overpass to the Rt 10/I-95 interchange, including all ramps at the Reservoir Avenue interchange, and replacing median barrier and roadside barrier/guardrail with MASH compliant hardware. Installation of high friction surface treatments on all Ramps along I-95 and Rt 10 within the Project limits and along the I-95 Thurbers Avenue curve. Refacing the retaining wall along I-95 Southbound supporting Byfield Street and Detroit Avenue. Bridge 065601: Eddy Street South – Complete replacement. Bridge 065701: Broad Street South – Complete replacement. Bridge 065801: Narragansett Electric Co - Full removal of superstructure and partial removal of substructure and replacing with embankment. No alternatives allowed. Bridge 065901: Elmwood Ave – Completion of bridge replacement partially completed under another contract, including installation of Prefabricated Bridge Units (PBUs) and other items not yet completed. No alternatives allowed. Bridge 066001: West Elmwood RR - Complete replacement. Bridge 066101: Completion of bridge replacement partially completed under prior contracts, including installation of slope paving, and other items not yet completed. No alternatives allowed. Bridge 066201: Ramp CB – Complete removal and reconfiguration of ramp to avoid railroad.
