Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Survey b. Geotechnical investigation, analysis and design c. Subsurface utility engineering, coordination, relocation and/or temporary support and protection in place d. Bridge, culvert and wall (including temporary and/or retaining) analysis and design e. Highway design and construction f. Temporary traffic control design and management as required to support staged construction g. Traffic engineering and/or traffic data collection (including traffic signal analysis and design, roundabout analysis and design, signing, and striping) h. Incorporation of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) components into the project including Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras, Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and a Hybrid Travel Time (HTT) sign. i. Design and construction Quality Assurance/Quality Control j. Environmental (soils and hazardous materials management, including testing, handling and disposal; SWPPP, landscaping, etc. It is noted that wetlands identification and evaluation and the required hydraulic studies and reports and storm drainage design have been completed by others, and the necessary environmental permits from RIDEM are in hand.)
