Specifications include, but are not limited to: The college intends to lease the elementary school space of the former Henry Barnard School on the Rhode Island College campus. The Henry Barnard School building includes the elementary school space, which has been vacant for approximately two years, and a second floor which is currently used by the college for classes, office space and a data center. Rhode Island College seeks an accredited K12 school that is interested in leasing this facility and serving as a strong RIC partner. The College prefers a secondary school lessee interested in partnership, both as a lab school partner to the RIC Feinstein School of Education and Human Development and as a partner to Rhode Island College through dual enrollment.
