Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Community College of Rhode Island’s Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) is seeking qualified and experienced investigation professionals to be available on an as‐needed basis to conduct investigations into allegations of violations of college policy. Investigators would conduct investigations into allegations that students, employees and/or third parties violated college policies that relate to discrimination and harassment based on protected category. The primary policies and procedures that would apply are the Council on Postsecondary Education’s Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence Policy, the Council on Postsecondary Education’s Complaint Procedures, the college’s nondiscrimination Policy, the Board of Education’s Violence in the Workplace Prevention Policy, State of Rhode Island Employee Handbook Employee Conduct/Ethics, and other policies that may be, or become, involved during allegations of discrimination or harassment based on protected category.
