Specifications include, but are not limited to: RIDEM is soliciting proposals for development of a Master Plan and Preliminary Design Services for a new state campground at Echo Lake. This project will identify a vision for provision of camper and visitor services for future generations. The project area is to be viewed as a blank slate in which a completely new campground will be built. RIDEM envisions the new campground having the following features: • All new campsites, at least 50% of which will be full-size pass-through RV with water and electric utilities. • The replacement of all piers and docks with one dedicated fishing pier, and an upgraded / replaced / relocated boat ramp, with attached boating pier. • All new utility lines, electric and water, with data utilities for Parks operations only. • Passive use recreational opportunities, including, but not limited to, hiking trails, interpretive signage, etc.
