The Project Management Office at The Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities & Hospitals (BHDDH) is seeking quotes/proposals for the provider Newport County Community Mental Health Center, at 65 Valley Road, Middletown, RI, 02842. The facility is an outpatient service ran by Newport Mental Health. The building is approximately 8,615 sq. ft. The current unit is a 25-ton York. The system’s outdoor condensing unit has refrigerant leaks in the aluminum condenser coil(s). There appears to be multiple refrigerant leaks, and the coils are in poor condition. There are (6) zones of heating & cooling for the building supplied by the single air handler. Each zone thermostat controls a dedicated zone damper. These dampers supply heated air, cooled air, or recycled air to the individual zones. The project involves the complete replacement of the existing 25-ton York condenser unit, installation of the new 25-ton unit, complete replacement of current air handler, installation of new air handler, and restoration of the site to its original condition including removal and installation of surrounding fences as needed. The vendor is responsible for providing all labor materials, equipment, and coordination required to complete work. Additionally, the vendor is responsible for electrical work, any crane fees, and the removal and reinstallation of surrounding fences.
