Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Richmond Rural Preservation Land Trust seeks an engineering firm to design an entrance road and parking area to enhance public access to a Land Trust property in Richmond, R.I. The parcel is approximately 112 acres of upland and wetland forest. The Land Trust owns right of way across an adjacent privately-owned parcel that connects the Land Trust parcel to the northern terminus of Chelsea Farm Drive, a public street. The right of way is approximately 25 feet wide and 235 feet long. The boundaries are permanently marked.Approximately 110 feet of the right of way follows an existing road bed previously used for vehicular access to the property, and the remainder is undeveloped. A relatively flat area on the parcel directly north and east of the right of way terminus should be suitable for a small parking area. A survey of the parcel and right of way is attached below as Appendix A
