Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. General Requirements: All security personnel provided by the Contractor shall meet the following standards: • Have good public relations skills and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. • Contractor shall conduct training on a regular basis and all employees must be Virginia State Certified unarmed security officers and maintain such certification throughout their assignment at SMV. Both the initial and renewal actions for this certification are to be at the contractors sole expense and not billable to SMV. • Be able to speak, read and write English in a proficient manner. • Be capable of administering first aid and CPR when necessary or required. • All security personnel shall be in good health, drug free and alcohol free. • Contractor and Employees shall not have any felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions in regard to property damages, theft, assault, and/or drug abuse.
