Specifications include, but are not limited to: Norfolk Public Schools (NPS) is located in a large urban school district of nearly 34, 000 students, 5,400 employees and 62 facilities. NPS uses and ERP solution by Tyler Technologies called MUNIS, for financial management and HR/Payroll. The purpose and intent of this request for proposal (RFP) is to acquire and implement at Time and Attendance solution that will be phased into the district. As the first phase , the district plans to implement the time and attendance system for our Facilities Maintenance tradesman and custodial staff at approximately 62 locations. This shall include various options for timekeeping devices with an interface with the MUNIS ERP system. It must have expansion capability to effective manage an additional 3000 classified employees and 2000 salaried employees. The proposed solution should also incorporate cutting edge technology. The awarded contract shall include hardware, software, installation, training and multi-year annual maintenance support. The offered system shall have proven record of operation in an equivalent K-12 school district, similar local or state agency in which MUNIS is currently in use.
