Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendor must maintain 24-hour/7-day-per-week communication equipment, including both mobile and office phones, and must provide emergency contact numbers in order for court personnel to direct operations before, during and after a snow event. All snowplowing, snow removal, sanding/salting, calcium chloride applications must be completed before 7:30 a.m. seven days a week. The building superintendent will contact the awarded Vendor before 7:30 a.m. if it is determined that the Vendor needs to be called in. The grounds to be serviced at each location by the Vendor include all public access area walkways, including sidewalks, steps and handicap walkways and ramps, as well as parking lots, all of which must be cleared of snow prior to 7:30 a.m. The entire width of the sidewalks must be cleared around the buildings. There must be automatic snow removal from any area that prevents access to sally ports (i.e., secured, controlled entryways) or reduces access to sally ports. Snowplowing is to be automatic when depth of snow reaches three (3) inches.
