Specifications include, but are not limited to: Security Services. The intent and purpose of this invitation for bids is to establish a contract with one qualified firm to provide security services to the Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck Community Services Board. · The Contractor will abide by the Purchaser’s confidentiality requirements having all employees of the Contractor sign a confidentiality form. · Provide approximately 20 hours of coverage per location, per week. · To patrol the outside of the building hourly and ensure all secondary entrances/exits to the building are secure. · To ensure that the main entrance is the only one in use after 5:00 PM. · To provide visible security coverage to waiting area while groups are checking in and money is being received. · To maintain order in the waiting area. · To escort all staff to their cars as they exit the building. · To ensure the security lights in the parking lot areas are activated. · To ensure that internal security doors are closed and that only escorted clients enter the secured areas. · If necessary, and only as directed, escort late group participants to their group meeting room. · The security personnel is to refrain from making personal telephone calls (except in case of emergency) and from smoking while on duty at the counseling centers. · Refrain from engaging staff or clients in lengthy personal conversations.
