Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose and intent of this IFB is to establish a contract with a security agency toprovide protection against damage from fire and vandalism, loss from theft, and toprovide surveillance of buildings and equipment at New River Community College,hereinafter referred to as NRCC, Agency, public body or purchasing agency. The serviceshall be provided by uniformed members of a recognized, licensed security agency,herein referred to as Contractor. The Contractor shall provide uniformed and unarmed security officers and avehicle clearly marked to indicate security services. Private vehicles owned bythe officers are not an acceptable alternative to this requirement. The Contractorshall have at least fifteen (15) consecutive years of recent experience in providingsecurity service at institutions of higher education of, at least, similar size andscope as the Agency
