Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The Contractor shall provide Virginia Certified, uniformed, Security Officers. The Contractor shall have five (5) years experience in providing security services to institutions of higher education or an agency of similar size. The Contractor should have a field supervisor located within 30 minutes of the Agency in the event quick response is needed. All security officers shall have a working knowledge of safety and security procedures. All security officers shall demonstrate ability to follow oral and written instructions and procedures; to lead, direct and train others in routine security procedures; and to react appropriately in emergency situations. All security officers shall have a high school diploma or the equivalent.
