Specifications include, but are not limited to: Administration Partner with HCO and PPSD key staff to develop and refine planning process work plan. Communicate regularly with HCO and PPSD staff regarding updates, needs, and challenges. Data Collection and Review Collect and review existing youth/school health-related quantitative and qualitative data and reports. Identify missing information and develop other data and information collection methods, as appropriate. Examples include, but are not limited to: key informant interviews, focus groups with stakeholders, paper/electronic surveys, and artistic interpretations/representations. Attend two (2) meetings of the PPSD Wellness Committee to assist with engaging committee members in the planning process. Attend one (1) meeting of the Providence By All Means Cabinet to assist with engaging committee members in the planning process. Needs Identification Compile, analyze, summarize, and report all data collected. Identify gaps in school-health related support, resources, services, or functions that the school district has or can develop capacity to fill. Identify gaps in school-health related support, resources, services, or functions that can be filled by local and/or state government, partner agencies, and other stakeholders. Identify peer school districts and best practices in organizational structure, staffing skillsets, and function for school health; make recommendations as appropriate. Report Development Draft and complete report summarizing process, findings, and recommendations. Provide for two rounds of report revisions. Provide for two update presentations of findings to key PPSD and City staff. Final report made available in Microsoft Word format.
