Specifications include, but are not limited to: Routine maintenance will be performed within 3 business days of notification, excluding weekends, weather permitting. The Town reserves the right to add a penalty provision in the contract for non-performance. Routine maintenance includes all of the streetlight repairs that are communicated to the Contractor by the close of any business day. The Contractor shall also incorporate into routine repairs all streetlight repairs identified during their independent inspections. Routine repairs will also include re-installing existing cobra head LED streetlights that have been disconnected by NGRID when they install a new pole to replace an existing one, or when NGRID replaces a damaged pole. In these instances NGRID disconnects the good cobra head streetlight and tapes it to the base of the new pole for the Town’s Contractor to re-install. The selected Contractor(s) shall maintain an inventory or have readily available a supply of repair parts/inventory such as photo cells, LED luminaire, fuses and other equipment that is routinely used for outage repairs in order to perform the restorations in the timeframes required.
