Specifications include, but are not limited to: Parks & SPU Guard & Patrol Services. Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) requires security patrol service for SPU Assets within the Water, Drainage and Wastewater, Solid Waste and Resource Management Divisions. These assets are located within the City of Seattle and King County areas. Patrol officers will provide daily security inspections of Seattle Public Utilities facilities and infrastructure. The Vendor must also provide 24/7 security guard post for a minimum of one location. The Seattle Parks Department (Parks) also requires security patrol service for lock-up services and security patrols in parks, community centers and public restrooms (comfort stations). It is also to utilize private security services for ad hoc park festivals and special events that may required. The Parks summer time comfort station/gate closure program runs from June 15th through September 15th. During this program private security officers will lock-up and secure assigned comfort stations and gates using Parks policies and procedures
