a. The scope of work/services for this Request for Quote (RFQ) includes furnishing, storing, installing, and providing a five (5) year ChargePoint Assure maintenance plan for up to five (5) Direct Current Fast Chargers (DCFC), each with the capability to simultaneously charge two vehicles at 150 kW simultaneously. The charger will be located as follows: i. Three (3) DCFC stations at the Newport Park & Ride, ii. Up to two (2) DCFC stations at the Tiverton Park & Ride, b. The work shall include all necessary permits, power improvements, site preparations, concrete pads, all necessary equipment housing, charging cables, network support, data reporting, equipment documentation, equipment maintenance plan, bollards, equipment installation, electrical connection, signage, striping, As-Built final designs, and associated civil work as well as commissioning and training support for up to two locations. c. All Contractor work shall meet all state and local electrical standards, building codes, and laws. d. All Contractor work shall follow the American with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), and implementing regulations, apply to EV charging stations by prohibiting discrimination on the basis of disability by public and private entities. e. The Contractor is responsible for storing equipment between delivery and installation in a secure location or container that protects the equipment from damage and vandalism at no cost to the State. This may be at the project site in lockable storage containers or at the Contractors facility. f. The Contractor is responsible for any damage to existing structures, including pavement, sidewalks, utilities, EVSE chargers, and signage in the roadway and the side of the road, during project implementation.
