To accomplish this objective, the City of Kalamazoo is seeking professional consulting services to accomplish the following for its Public Safety – Kalamazoo Public Safety Officer Association (KPSOA) and Kalamazoo Public Safety Supervisor Association (KPSA) positions: 1.1 Conduct a comprehensive job analyses study of all KPSOA and KPSA positions in the City of Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety. 1.2 Update and/or create new job descriptions for each distinct job within this group of positions with special emphasis on identifying essential KSAs and suggested training and experience. Employment legal factors should be incorporated in the job analyses processes and in the development of the final job descriptions themselves, (e.g., American with Disabilities Act, Equal Employment Opportunity, etc.). Information from existing job descriptions may be incorporated.
