Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Health (HEALTH) is seeking an individual to conduct inspections offacilities licensed as Funeral Establishments and Crematories in the State of Rhode Island inaccordance with the provisions of Chapter 5-33.2 (13) and (13.1) of the Rhode Island GeneralLaws.Inspections will be conducted in conjunction with all initial applications for facility licensure,routinely in accordance with an established inspection schedule and as needed in response tocomplaints regarding the condition of licensed facilities. All inspections will be conducted toinsure compliance with applicable statutes, rules and regulations, and general conditions ofpublic health, sanitation and safety.
