Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent and purpose of this Invitation For Bids is to establish a term contract with a qualified firm to provide preventive maintenance services at a firm fixed price, emergency services, and ‘on-call’ repair services on a time and materials basis for makes and models of heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment as may now be owned or later acquired by Danville Community College, an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia. This solicitation shall not require the Contractor to replace entire systems nor major components (over $2500) on a furnish and install basis. 1.2. This document constitutes a request for sealed bids from qualified sources and contains information pertaining to the services to be performed and requirements of the contractor. 1.3. In addition, this document contains requirements governing the bids and the submission of a bid by sources qualified to furnish the required security services for the College. 2. scope OF SERVICE 2.1. REQUIREMENTS: 2.1.1.Preventive maintenance Service: The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, tools, parts and materials as may be required to provide complete preventive maintenance on all HVAC equipment listed in ATTACHMENT C, except as otherwise indicated herein. 2.1.2.Repair Service: Contractor shall provide repair service, including but not limited to the equipment listed in ATTACHMENT C on a time and materials basis. 2.1.3.Exclusions: Water treatment service for all equipment listed is specifically excluded from the scope of work of this contract
