Fire Alarm and Detection Equipment Inspections; the Contractor agrees to visually inspect and functionally test the Owners fire alarm system components installed in the premises, at the frequency noted within the Agreement and in accordance to standard industry practices: • Complete full visual inspection • Determine if the fire alarm and detection system is in service and in satisfactory condition, at all Town buildings outlined • Inspect the fire alarm control panels for proper operation, including a functional test of components, emergency power switch-over and back-up battery conditions • Inspect and test alarm indicating devices for operation • Inspect and test fire alarm initiating devices for alarm capability, including smoke detectors, heat detectors, pull stations, pressure switches, flow switches, remote panels and annunciators • Test all batteries • Confirm prior completion dates of all required routine maintenance • Document all results and complete test report, deficiency letter and recommendations • In accordance with NFPA standards, functionally test 100% of the entire system, it is required to be inspected in all areas of all the buildings Fire Sprinkler Inspection; the entire building is to be tested, including to visually inspect and functionally test Owners accessible fire sprinkler system components installed on the premises: • Perform visual inspection of visible fire sprinkler wet system, from floor level, including all pipes, fittings and hangars to ensure they are in good condition and free of mechanical damage, leakage, corrosion, or misalignment. • Perform visual inspection of fire sprinkler heads to ensure adequate clearance and no obstructions to impair spray patterns as well as the condition of sprinkler heads from dust, leakage, etc. • Perform flow test of 2” main drains recording static and residual pressures
