Preventive Maintenance Program 1. Vendor shall perform semi-annual Preventive Maintenance for NBC four (4) MV SIEMENS VFD per the following scope. a. Vendor shall monitor units’ current operating condition by viewing input and output voltage through the units existing Power Transformers (PTs), power supplies and speed reference with oscilloscope in the low voltage section of the VFD. This includes using oscilloscope and reading input and output voltages at the potential transformers inside the low voltage section of the VFD and recording any abnormalities. b. Vendor shall perform visual inspection and report on installation and environment and make corrections and/or recommendations where applicable. 1. Check for hot spots on all heat generating components and connection points 2. Check input and output terminals for discoloration 3. Check all wire condition and connections, secure and retorque if necessary 4. Verify that there is no foreign material (dust, metal, bolts, etc.) inside the cabinets 5. Vacuum the cabinet as required and clean/replace air filters
