Specifications include, but are not limited to: Qualified firms for the provision of Educational Services with a 1 year contract with the option to renew for 3 additional years. The Rhode Island Department of Corrections is requesting proposals for the provision of Educational Services to the 48 members of the nursing staff at the Rhode Island Department of Corrections on a routine, monthly, rotating schedule as well as on an as-needed basis. Contractor will need to demonstrate experience in fields of study taught (Trauma, Patient Assessment, Patient Resuscitation, Medication Administration, Medical Device Use, etc.). Contractor will insure appropriate programs of study have Continuing Education Units applied to them as designated by the Rhode Island State Nurses Association.
