Provide engineering services to prepare fully permitted, bid-ready construction plans for two (2) piers at the two DEM project locations: the CFL and the Wickford Enforcement Base. As this project is being funded in part by a FEMA hazard mitigation grant, it is recommended that the engineering firm review the document titled “Acknowledgement of Programmatic Requirements” provided within this document’s appendices for applicable design requirements. Plans must satisfy the Programmic Requirements, and the engineering publications specified therein. The Engineer shall prepare and submit 10%, 30%, 90%, and 100% design plans for review by DEM. Comments, questions, and requests made by DEM shall be addressed at every design submission. Design submissions must be made electronically to the DEM. It is expected that the DEM will coordinate closely with the selected firm during the design process to achieve a highquality design.
