The Town of Narragansett (hereinafter, the Town) is interested in obtaining the services of a billing company to seek reimbursement for the Town’s Emergency Medical and Fire Services, inclusive of rescue or any other emergency response services. The Town utilizes three ALS Rescues/Ambulances for emergency medical transport services. One rescue vehicle is staffed 24/7; the other two are cross staffed at varying periods of time annually. The Narragansett Fire Department responds to over 3,600 calls for service per year and utilizes an electronic patient care reporting (ePCR) system provided by ImageTrend. The Town had 1529 transports in 2024. The bidder must possess a minimum of three years’ experience in medical billing and management. The bidder must also be capable of managing non-medical emergency response billing. Prior experience and references will be weighed heavily in determining the lowest responsible bidder.
