The work generally includes the following: • Installation of new PVC gravity sewer pipe, bends, fittings, and to connect building sewers to the existing gravity sewer main; • Installation of cleanouts and a backwater valve at each property; • Abandonment of existing OWTS at each property; • Site restoration, including loam and seed, temporary and permanent pavement patching, concrete walkways, landscape areas, etc.; • Site feature restoration, including remove and reset chainlink fence, wooden stockade fence, pavers, walkways, trees and shrubs, etc.; and • Removal, hauling, and disposal of excess contaminated soil, if and when encountered during construction, in accordance with the Town's Soil Management Plan and Environmental Land Use Restrictions in place on some properties in the project area.
