REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR CONTRACTOR SERVICES
The Block Island Housing Board, New Shoreham, Rhode Island, seeks the services of a qualified contractor to manage the development and construction of eight (8) duplexes, sixteen (16) two-bedroom apartments, two (2) of which will be disability-accessible units, to be built on West Side Road. Each contractor submitting proposals must be lawfully engaged in the practice of general contracting, licensed, and insured, in good standing with the State of Rhode Island, and with specific experience in the type of project requested herein. An overview and detailed project plans and specifications are provided in the Request for Proposals (RFP), and can be found on the Town Website www.newshorehamri.gov or www.bidnetdirect.com
Proposals must be received by the Office of the Town Clerk, located at 16 Old Town Road, Block Island, RI 02807 no later than 6:00 pm on November 7, 2023. Each proposal shall be submitted in a sealed envelope which is clearly marked:

A pre-proposal informational meeting will be held at 12:30 pm on October 27, 2023, at the New Shoreham Town Hall, 16 Old Town Road, Block Island, RI 02807. A site visit will follow the meeting. Questions due by 12 Noon on November 1st to kbrown@newshorehamri.gov
