Today, the Town of Lloyd has officially joined the Empire State Purchasing Group to help streamline their bid distribution process. The Empire State Purchasing Group is one of Bidnet Direct by SOVRA’s many regional purchasing groups throughout the nation, which offers participating local government agencies an e-procurement solution. The Town of Lloyd invites all vendors to register online with the Empire State Purchasing Group to access its upcoming solicitations by visiting www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york/townoflloyd.
Once registered with the Empire State Purchasing Group, vendors are able to log on to a centralized location to search for various bid opportunities, download necessary documents and submit their proposals. By publishing their upcoming solicitations to the regional purchasing group, the Town of Lloyd is able to reach more vendors in their area and throughout the state and provide them with an easier way to access all the bid opportunities available. The Empire State Purchasing Group also allows the Town of Lloyd a way to track all bid activity, including the details of vendors who have received or downloaded a bid. This also gives vendors a chance to see who else is interested in the bid and who they could potentially partner with if necessary.

Registered vendors also gain access to a team of experienced customer service support representatives and can upgrade their service to receive customized bid alerts, advanced notice of term contract expiration, and notifications of any posted addendum.
