USDA Forest Service has a requirement for vectorized and mosaicked approximately 194 scanned historical maps of land cover and join them with existing vector data to create a land-cover map for Puerto Rico for 1950-51.
The Agency will provide a link where the contractor can download the previously scanned and georeferenced maps.
Requirements/Credentials:
1. Expert knowledge and experience vectorizing land cover from scanned maps.
2. Experience vectorizing and joining with polygon edge matching large numbers of scanned historical land-cover maps
